For Birth relatives
- If you are a Brighton and Hove resident who is the relative of a child who was adopted in the past.
- If you are the relative of a child for whom this Local Authority is making a plan for adoption.
We can offer:
- Counselling and advice in relation to adoption issues.
- Support, advice and mediation in relation to maintaining contact with a child who has been adopted.
- Assistance and advice for those seeking contact with an adult relative who has been adopted.

For Adopted adults:
- If you are over 18, were adopted and are resident in Brighton and Hove.
We can offer:
- Counselling and advice on adoption issues.
- Counselling to those seeking information about their origins through access to their birth records.
- Support and advice to adopted people who are seeking or have made contact with their birth relatives.
