Brighton & Hove City Council continually need to find new Foster Carers for older girls and boys aged 10 and over from all our ethnic and cultural communities. These children are at a crucial stage of their young lives and they need the care and support of adults who would be committed to providing them with a positive family experience. Fostering is very rewarding and worthwhile and something you can do in your own home. There are financial rewards too, with allowances of up to £1400 per month for every teenager that you foster. Our committed and experienced Fostering Team will provide you with all the training, support and guidance you’ll need and we’ll be available to you 24 hours a day. We welcome enquiries from couples or single people, lesbians and gay men and older people. Maybe you have parented your own teenagers or feel like you have skills in talking to young people. If you are interested, and live within a 20 mile radius of Brighton and Hove and would like further information, please call 01273 295444 and have a chat with our Fostering Team – there’s never been a better time.

Brighton & Hove are actively recruiting foster carers able to provide placements for parents and babies. This a rewarding and challenging fostering task. You need to be confident in the care of babies but also able to work with young parents offering support, advice and supervision. Your care and experience could really make a difference to the lives of a young parent and baby. You need to have a spare room and one carer needs to be at home full time to provide the support and advice a young parent would need. Our committed and experienced Fostering Team will provide all the training, support and guidance you will need and we'll be available to you 24hours per day. There are financial rewards too, parent and baby foster carers receive an allowance of over £2,000 per month to cover all expenses. We welcome enquiries from couples, single people, lesbians and gay men and older people. You may have the skills we are looking for through your own experience of being a parent or perhaps you have relevant work skills.

We strive to recruit foster carers who can respect and value a child’s ethnic and cultural background. We have children from many different backgrounds requiring short or long-term fostering placements.
